Xiamen Union Spares Ltd has gained success on production development ofД49 cylinder head and sold Д49 cylinder head to clients in  Russia and Ukraine.

The Д49 diesel engine is a diesel engine for diesel locomotives designed by the Kolomna plant in the 1960s and mass-produced in 1967. It is applied for mainline freight transport, mainline passenger transport, passenger and cargo dual-use, shunting and small-run diesel locomotives.

The alloy ductile iron Д49 cylinder head developed by our company which is based on the original drawing of the main engine factory has a tensile strength (σb / MPa) of more than 700MPa and an elongation (δ%) of more than 6%. The mechanical performance of our cylinder head is even higher than the requirements on original drawings.

We used several new technique when developing this cylinder head:

The use of 3-Dlmodeling technology greatly improves the accuracy of the casting blanks; the deviation of the wall thickness of the finished product is less than 1mm.

2. Use magma software for casting mold flow analysis for defect-free blanks. The fine rate of trial casting rate reached 95%.

3. We use coated sand in sand-core making in the process of shaping.The cylinder head water cavity, the air passage are clean and smooth, and there is no phenomenon such as sand staining
